Last night my mom was gracious enough to come by our place and offer to stay overnight to handle lil baby M. We've both been dying for uninterrupted sleep for, well weeks now haha. But N and I shared a little bit of a jazz cigarette and just had a blast together. We laughed, chatted, ate oreos, watched Ted Lasso. We just had a really really good time. I know I've been missing that with her and it was so cup filling to be able to do that with her again like old times. Absolutely need keep that up going forward!

The family had a great labor day weekend I think. We took M to his very first renaissance fair! Myself and him were cute lil matching hobbits and he did exceptional. For a 3 month old he handled the day really well, his eyes were wide as fuck the whole time taking it all in, but he did great! Then on Monday we had a super fun cookout, party at my MIL's and the amount of dishes people brought to share was insane! All in all, a great weekend with the fam.

Well today I ran out of gas with the new car haha. Hilariously I was hoping to find out how low the computer would go but the light came on yesterday with 50 miles to go until empty and apparently I ran dry at 40 miles to go. So I spent the most of my morning walking to Home Depot and Autozone to get a gas can and a funnel to fuel myself up. Insane way to start my day. It's also the last day of my wife's maternity leave before she heads to a wedding out of town. I think we'll order some fajitas tonight to have a lil family celebration but I'm sure she's feeling sad about returning and not being able to hangout with the boy every day. I love her so much and it's been fun watching her experience maternity leave.
